With
spring upon us the competition to generate photographs for the
2027 village calendar is drawing closer. This popular competition
will soon be taking place again.
As usual we welcome photographs taken in
recent years, reflecting any of the 12 months of the year, representing
our beautiful parish and our thriving community. These may include
scenic views, architectural and natural features, street scenes
and any seasonal or unusual aspects of the parish. Community
events or celebrations and other society activities would also
be appreciated.
The images should be recognisable as being
in Nayland or Wissington. (Please remember that while shots of
magnificent birds soaring overhead, cute animals in a field or
spectacular skies are impressive they could be taken anywhere.)
So please capture something familiar in the background.
As usual the competition will be open to
residents of the Nayland with Wissington parish, and those who
work in the parish or are active participants in parish societies/organisations.
There is no age limit and we would love to have more entries
from young people, the aim is to make it an enjoyable community
project
Deadline for receiving entries
will be Monday 20th April
Further
details are available here - please check this for rules and submission criteria.

boundaries - check this graphic
The display of photographs will be available
to view online via www.naylandandwiston.net from 24th April to 26th April for viewers to vote on their favourites. The 12 most popular photographs will
be announced on 7th May and will be included in the 2027 calendar.
